After two years we are pleased to announce that the number of rangers protecting this land is now back to about we had before,
this means that we are able to fully protect and look after the land and families that visit us here. More recently, there have been more deer sightings here by visitors during the day and even at night by the security team. We hope that this will encourage people to start visiting again.
It is with great sorrow that we must announce the forests temporary closure due to an ongoing investigation, we promise to get the park reopened and back to its usual business soon.
In more positive news, we have seen more ground nesting birds around the forest, we hope that these birds will stay for when we reopen soon.
After six long years, we are proud to announce the reopening of Sunnyside Forest to the public!
As many of you may have seen, the investigation into [redacted] was inconclusive and they found no evidence of [redacted], all of this meant that we could reopen our beloved forest to you all!
We hope that you'll all join us soon!
